How to Fit Women’s Pants

Having a proper fitting pair of pants is absolutely necessary  if you want to be comfortable at home or work  all day.  Women come in all sizes and shapes and figuring out exactly what to look for during a fitting will help you choose slacks for your daily wardrobe that will complement your style.

Instruction
Step 1:  Choose your preferred waist style.  A classic waist style sits at your belly button level, while a natural waist is slightly lower. The natural waist tends to be  a little more comfortable, especially if you stretch and bend all day
Step 2:  Pay attention to the zipper when you are sitting down.   If the pants fit well, the zipper will lay smoothly along your stomach.  Try pants with a lower waistline if the zipper pulls or bunches .
Step 3 :  Make sure the put on your  office shoes when you try on the slacks.   You need to know the correct length as well as how it will look when you're at work.
Step 4:  Pay Attention to the hemline of the pants when you are sitting.  If it rides up too high, your pants  may  be too tight.  Try a larger size or choose fabric that lays smoothly on your leg without riding up when you sit
Step 5:  Turn  in your mirror reflection and see how the pants fit on your bottom. The fabric should lay smoothly over your rear with no evidence of pant lines.  Be sure the crotch of the pants doesn't bind or bunch when you bend or  sit.
Step 6:  Choose soft comfortable fabrics that don't itch. Nylon blends are smooth against your skin. Avoid knotted tweeds that leave scratchy nubs to rub against your legs.
